Village to provide Electronics Recycling Event.
The Village of Greenup, IL has scheduled an Electronics Recycling Event for Tuesday, May 7, 2024 (7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) at the Village of Greenup Maintenance Building (612 Wagon Rd.). Residents of the Village of Greenup, IL will need to provide proof of residency (Village of Greenup Utility Billing and/or IL Driver’s License) and a disposal fee to staff members before dropping off items.
The following, but not limited to electronic items/with disposal fees will be accepted:
Fax Machines, Laptops, Computers & Keyboards – ($1.00)
Radios, VCRs, CD & DVD Players, MP3 Players, Game Systems & Stereos – ($1.00)
Cell Phones & Batteries – ($1.00)
Cameras & Camcorders – ($1.00)
Toasters, Lamps, Coffee Pots & Blenders – ($1.00)
Microwaves – ($5.00)
Flat Screen Computer Monitors - ($1.00)
Printers & Copiers – ($5.00)
Vacuums & Dehumidifiers ($5.00)
Flat Screen TVs up to 36 inches, measured diagonally – ($1.00)
Flat Screen TVs over 36 inches, measured diagonally - ($5.00)
TVs with CRT Glass – ($10.00)
Big Screen TVs & Console TVs ($20.00)
Other electronic items not listed; fees will be at the discretion of the Village.
