The Village of Greenup, IL Utility Department will be conducting Junk Days on
Fri., May 31, 2024 (7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) and Sat., June 1, 2024 (7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) at the Maintenance Building (612 Wagon Rd).
Residents of the Village of Greenup, IL will need to provide proof of residency (Village of Greenup Utility Billing and/or an IL Driver’s License) to a staff member before dropping off any items considered junk. Residents with disabilities may call the Clerk’s office at 217-923-3401 on Thursday or Friday (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) to schedule a pick-up.
Articles that CANNOT be taken are Tires, Paint, Air Conditioners, Humidifiers, appliances containing Fluorocarbons, Furnaces, Heat Pumps, Boilers, Fluorescent Lights, Lead Acid Batteries, Demolition or Construction Materials, Yard Waste, Garbage and Electronics.
